Gavin's tee-ball game was one of the biggest victories to date! He landed the position that he loves, short-stop, because that's where the ball tends to be hit to the most and my little man loves action!
After his game, we lingered around and practiced hitting the ball WITHOUT using the tee! Gavin loved it! His coaches like to play a mini game of real baseball after every tee-ball game and invited us to join in the fun!
It was a blast and you can see how ecstatic Gavin was when he hit the ball {without the tee} all the way near the fence in the OUTFIELD!
He did that a few more times...
The ball was hit right to Gavin! He swooped it up, and passed right to 2nd base for an 'out'. Yep, my little 5-year old performed a double play {not once, not twice, but 3 consecutive times!} and we were SO very proud of him! Way to go, G!
He was floating on cloud 9 after that play!
