75° and Sunny

Today was the first official day of Spring, and the weather forecast was perfect for a fun family outing in FDR park. So, the three of us set out to the lakes for a picnic lunch and an afternoon of sporty activities. Picnics and outdoor movies are some of our absolute fave things to do throughout the warmer months.

Just being completely silly and enjoying the day, we had an absolute *ball* lounging, laughing, playing, eating and basking in the glorious rays of beautiful sunshine.

P.S...you may be wondering how we captured family pictures without doing the old backward shot, or setting the timer. Well, we were accompanied by some very close friends who helped snap a few family shots, and enjoyed this Spring afternoon. BUT I could not disclose any pics of them just yet. Besides it would totally give away a little *secret* about a certain someone. SO, stay tuned...once the secret is out, I'll be sure to post Part 2 of this beautiful day!
