E-A-G-L-E-S

Michael took me to the Eagles vs. Redskins game this beautiful Sunday afternoon. My very first time at the new stadium. Lucky girl!

I have been to an Eagles game at the old stadium, and even went with my family to Miami to watch my Dolphins team play years ago. But sharing my 1st experience at the new Linc with my husband was quite an exciting moment, especially since I was able to share in something that means so much to him. Not to mention, this was a winning day for...

Green Victory

Sorry Mom, I know you love the Redskins but they stood no chance against our Eagles today. For what its worth, I love you more than football! :)

Date Night

Today we planned for a fun family outing in Atlantic City. Dinner plans were set at Rainforest Cafe (one of Gavin's fave restaurants), followed by a slumber at a nearby hotel. BUT plans changed when G opted for a sleepover with Rowan and Nini instead.

SO, our Family Date Mommy/Daddy date night landed us in Atlantic City once again where we met up with MomMom and Grand Pops for dinner at an elegant Italian Restaurant ~ Primavera.

Later, Michael and I scored lots of QT in an oceanview room at the Bally's hotel, snuggled up and watched some hotel movies for a late night.

We set our camera timer and had a fun photo session! :)

Oh, that oceanview was a beautiful sight to wake up to the following morning.

After a fun Saturday outing with the hubby, we continued our date and headed right from AC to the Eagles vs Redskins football game that Sunday morning.

Sweetest Thanks

...for such a wonderful Fall Festive Thanksgiving!

I thank God for all of my blessings. I am utterly grateful for my sweet, caring husband...and adorable little son (who by the way brings me about a gazillion smiles daily). These two are the absolute loves of my life! I couldn't be happier for our blessed little family!

Despite Gavin's low-grade fever, we spent this joyful Thanksgiving with my wonderful family. Nini and Pap were thrilled to have their kiddies and grand-babies at home. We enjoyed the most delish dinner (and sweets) made by my fabulous MOM! Love her dearly!

As everyone shared things to be thankful for, Gavin shared just how 'Thankful he was for Baby CJ'. He was so happy to spend this holiday with his two precious cousins, Rowan and Baby CJ.

We have so much to be thankful for every. single. day!
Sweetest Thanks for all our family and friends!

3 Silly Turkeys

We all know how much I love hand and feet prints, only this time for the whole family! So, the three of us grabbed some paint and brushes...then got into a mess of FUN!

Mommy painted Gavin's turkey hands...

Gavin painted Mommy's turkey hands...

Then Gavin painted on Daddy's turkey hands...

And made 3 silly turkeys...just like us! :)

Celebrate

Happy 1-Year Anniversary to my charming husband! Yes, charming because he was such a gentleman (as always) and was sure to open my car door just like our dating days! Oh, I love him so! :)

We had a fabulous time celebrating our 1st anniversary weekend at the Caesars Hotel in Atlantic City.

The hotel was beautiful and we even scored a lovely beach view room.

The funniest part of Caesars was when we came across this Caesar statue...

Michael said, "Baby, when we own our mansion, I want a statue just like that only with my face on it." So as the exceptional wife that I am, I made it all possible...
Ha...looks good to me! :)

So after lots of silliness and losing some mucho dollars on the casino floor, we taxied our way over to the Borgata for a nice, romantic dinner at Bobby Flay. It was certainly delish with the strongest raspberry martinis EVER!

The following morning, we enjoyed room-service with the yummiest breakfast spread, ever so tasty...and that peaceful beach view!

Since the traditional 1st anniversary gift is paper, Michael surprised me with movie tickets to go see 'The Twilight Saga-New Moon' ...certainly a thoughtful 'paper' gift!

After the movie, we were so excited to dive right in to our red velvet wedding cake- a year old at that! We broke out our Vera Wang 'love knots' cake knife/server set and role played from our wedding day...right down to feeding each other a taste.

Only this time I wasn't so gentle...
Hey, after a year the cake is bound to go in the face! :)

Although the cake (with frozen roses atop) looked yummy, it actually tasted as we thought it would after a year in the freezer...EW! Its a good thing we enjoyed a taste of our delish cake on our big day!

We weren't too disappointed though because there was enough sweetness throughout our weekend that made our 1-year anniversary so wonderful!

Words cannot express my love and gratitude for having my husband in my life. He has given me more than one could ever ask for, including the greatest gift of all...

Thank YOU Michael for such a spectacular Anniversary weekend! I love you with all of my heart!
