Albert's Acres

Home is our peaceful escape...a place where time seems to stand still even for a moment. We can relax and soak up some quality time with family. When we make our way back to the valley, it is best enjoyed when we head to our family cabin- Albert's Acres! Memories are floating in this place...

Gavin enjoys running his little heart out,

We love it here, this little place called home!!

It is best enjoyed with those you love...

It is not complete until we take zooter cruises
around the scenic trails!

The boys love it...

...and so do the ladies!

What is there not to love about the beauty of nature?

Best of all, is that my little man is loving adventures in the great outdoors....takes after his mama! ;)

Thankful

Year round, I am so very thankful for my precious son, amazing husband, genuine family and friends, good health, and a whole lot of happiness. I am most grateful for all the wonderful blessings God has granted me and my family each and every day. This year has been an amazing journey and my heart is full of gratitude!

There is nothing quite like family!

{Silly} Cousins...

...and Bestest of Sisters!

Missing a few of my favorites in this post... Nini was cooking up a storm, Pap was probably entertaining Ms. Rowan, and we were awaiting Scottie and Haley to join our Thanksgiving! Meanwhile, I was sure to grab plenty of pics with my guys to pass the time!

Today, I am beyond thankful for home! Home Sweet Home is our sweet escape, and with family in the mix, there is nothing quite like it! Happy Turkey Day!

Amore

Ten years ago, I met the man I knew I was going to marry, and it was only 3 years ago that we tied the knot! Each year, we carefully plan a mini Anniversary getaway that is filled with romantic adventure. We were so tempted to go back to our sailing adventures from last year, but each year we promised would bring new memories. So this year my hubby insisted on surprising me for our Anniversary celebration!

I had absolutely no idea where we were going. All I knew was that I would love our time away together. Despite a 'road bump' that morning (putting our car in the garage), we were finally on our way.

It wasn't until we reached this point that I finally realized that our adventures would consist of some wine-tasting! Definitely smaller than my hubby had hoped for, it was all that we needed. Together we wine-tasted, had a 'mini' bbq, and bought a few bottles of the sweetest wine...Amore!

After the winery, he surprised me with tickets to see Breaking Dawn, followed by a super yummy dinner at a romantic restaurant- Edge in the little town of Bethlehem. We spent the night in a cozy hotel, but canceled plans the next day to get home early to our son, who indeed came down with a yucky tummy bug. He needed his mama! ;)

I love the adventures we take, and the memories we make. I am so in love with my husband and can't thank him enough for all he has done for our family. He is the best husband ever, that's for sure and I am blessed to be his wife! Thank you, Michael for making me such a lucky gal, so in love! AMORE!

That's a Wrap

Well, almost! Just as this soccer season was winding down, Gavin requested to join an indoor soccer league with a few of his favorite buddies from the team. So, we will break for about two weeks, and start again just in time for the busy holiday season. But, before calling it quits, the kiddies played their very last game of the season...against their daddies!

The soccer finale was so cute watching father and son go head to head. They sure play their little hearts out!

We were so proud to see our little man assist the very last goal!
He has always been a superstar!

To wrap up this soccer season, our little cuties scored a fun pizza party and a trophy! Gav's trophy collections sure are growing!

See you soon, soccer friends!
