Monkey See, Monkey Do

Gavin takes after his mommy when it comes to adorable little monkeys! Aren't monkeys the cutest?

Well, Gav brought home his very own little monkey from school today. Okay, not a real one but cute enough, nonetheless! :)

On another note, Gavin and his school buds had yet another adventurous day at school. They were entertained by a balloon artist. G couldn't wait to show off his balloon sword. Sadly, it popped shortly after we arrived home (sorry no pics).

But he must have had one really awesome day because at bedtime he decided it was the right time to inform us (step-by-step) of everything his morning entailed:

"Mommy, I did something at school today. I sat at the table. I ate my snack. We had juice. I pushed my chair in."

(then it started all over again a few moments later)

"Mommy, I did something at school today. I sat on the rug. Nicco was there. There was a birthday. It wasn't my birthday, not yet. Rowan was there. Maybe it was Rowan's birthday."

(and again...)

"Mommy, I did something at school today. I cried at the table. Just a little. I missed you. Then a big man came. He had a really big hat. He was funny. He made us balloons."

(and yet again)

"Mommy, I did something at school today............."

Well, you get the idea! This went on for 20 minutes! Gav told us everything over and over and over again...lol!

Oh, how I love my little monkey! :)

Mmmarshmallow

On Thursday, Gavin brought home a yummy 'M'arshmallow collage that he made in school. The letter of the week is 'M'... what a marvelous piece of artwork that looks quite so yummy! :)

I can just picture all the little preschoolers doing such a fun activity. Sneaking a few nibbles as they intently glue this sweet treat onto some colorful paper.

We were excited to hear that Gavin was able to associate the letter M to one of the most important people in his life.

No, the word wasn't Mommy, nope.

Nah, not Michelle either.

It was 'Michael'.

Gavin was sure to tell his teacher that his daddy starts with the letter M...that his name is Michael. Well, at least we know that Gavin doesn't forget 'you know who' when he is having some fun at school! :)

Love at First Sight

Gavin is totally in love with his new boy cousin! Meeting him for the very first time, Gav just couldn't get enough of Baby CJ.

He just couldn't wait to give Baby CJ (and the big sister) a little surprise...

Gavin was absolutely intrigued by such sweet little fingers, precious piggy toes, kissable chunker cheeks, and sharing tons of snuggles...

Wait, what happened to Baby CJ?
Oh yes, he is being smothered by his big sister and big cousin!
Gavin was psyched to show his daddy the newest cousin addition...Uncle Michael and Auntie Shell are thrilled for our first-born nephew!

And we all know Nini just can't get enough...

Thanks Aunt D and Uncle Chris for letting us snuggle, cuddle and love on your newest love bundle! What proud parents you must be! :)

Talk about Love at First Sight!

Gavin begged to hold CJ one last time before heading home. After he got his wish (for the hundredth time that evening), Gavin reassured him with one last kiss and said, "Its okay CJ, I'll be back tomorrow." :)

Stuck on You

We were thrilled to receive Gavin's preschool accessories in the mail today! How adorable are these personalized JUMBO *space* stickers that make for some fun labeling...

And these aren't the only things that are stuck on Gavin. Apparently he is stuck on SCHOOL! All he kept asking over the 4-day weekend was, "When can I go to school to see my friends?" LOL...and to think all that worrying was for nothing! ;)

Mr. Bear

Gavin did such a fabulous job at school today...AND not one tear shed at drop-off! After a quick peck and a lovable squeeze, Gavin went right over to mingle with his school buds. :)

The teachers rewarded Gavin the opportunity to take Mr. Bear home that day and write in Bear's journal about all the fun things they did together. Gavin was very lucky to be one of the first to care for Mr. Bear!

Here's what we had to say about Mr. Bear's visit...
"Mr. Bear was so much FUN! We started off with a refreshing nap after school. Afterward, we did some arts and crafts tracing Mr. Bear's furry body, and ate some yummy peanuts for an afternoon snack. Mr. Bear must have been really hungry because he ate the peanuts all up. YUM!"

"Then, my mommy and daddy got us ready to go to Mr. Bear's very first Phillies' game. We met up with lots of friends and teachers from school, ate some pizza, and cheered for the Phillies. We got SO lucky and scored a picture with the Phanatic...he was too funny. I took Mr. Bear to the Phillies Phun Zone and he loved going down the slide on my lap. Of course, the Phillies WON!"

"After a FUN day with Mr. Bear, it was time for us to turn in. At home, my mommy got us into pj's, read 3 bedtimes stories, and tucked us into bed. Mr. Bear snuggled right into me and we both drifted off to sleep for the rest of the night."

Dear Mr. Bear,
I was so happy to have you share a special day with me and my family. I will miss you but will look for you every day at school.

Welcome to the World

Christopher Michael Pauzano Jr. has arrived 09.11.09. 3:29 AM. 9lbs. 11 ounces!

Congratulations Denise and Chris on your newest little bundle of LOVE...and adorable family!

I am such a proud Auntie...and just couldn't wait to snuggle, love, and spoil my first nephew!

Rowan has been waiting for her baby brother. Meeting him for the very first time, she kept singing, "Happy Birthday CJ!" She is already a fabulous and loving big sister!

Rowan will always be our little princess...we LOVE her SO much!

Nini was loving every minute...and enjoyed squeezing and kissing those chunker sweet cheeks!
