Easter Sunday

This Easter celebration was filled with fabulous festivities, spent with family and friends back in the valley!

Our FAMILY gathered together...watching our little ones as they reveled in all the holiday fun like we did growing up with our very own parents, siblings, cousins, aunties, uncles and grandparents!

We knew the Annie's Organic Cheddar Bunny crackers, shredded carrots, and Easter bread would make a perfect snack for our hungry Easter Bunny through his late night travels and hidden egg hunt extravaganza!

The Easter bunny was sure to spoil him once again this year! Leaving a trail of 5 other baskets, all with his name on, filled with a smorgasbord of goodies at some of our closest family and friends homes, too. Lucky little boy! He couldn't wait to score what was inside...

Once Gavin scouted a 'G' superhero cape,
he knew something grand was hiding underneath for him!

He loved his Lego Ninjago sword!

His new personalized Pip & Bean superhero cape
and mask was a huge hit, also!

Eager to get outside and give it a whirl!

Followed by a fun, festive Easter hunt adventure!

The littles scurried high and low
searching for colorful, goody-filled, plastic eggs!

It was a wonderful, festive family weekend where
HOME brings so many precious memories---new and old!

Happy Easter!

EGGstravaganza

An egg-dyeing EGGstravaganza
is a favorite of ours around this time of year!

Something that always finds its way right into our Easter must-do's! Nothing is quite as cool as watching white eggs turn to bright, vibrant colors right before your eyes!

Gavin and Rowan always have fun taking turns with the fun colors, and last years' dye-fest always makes me smile!

Voila! Beautiful egg art!

Happy Easter Eve!

Easter Saturday

A weekend filled with such a variety of Easter adventures that I opted to do a smaller breakdown of all the fun festivities ~ egg dyeing, egg hunts x2, tons of family time, and the actual Easter celebration to capture all the true holiday bliss! Of course, Family always comes first! Happy {pre}Easter Saturday!

It's a tradition for us to capture a few {okay, a whole-helluva-bundle} of family photos by my favorite blooming tree in my parents yard!

My sister and I couldn't wait to take our littles to the town's egg hunt! But first, as a little sis I had fun giving both of us cute, coordinating braids! It is what baby sisters do anyway! ;)

Easter baskets in hand, we took our babes to hunt for colorful eggs & goodies! The cousins were separated into their own age bracket! And, if you ever did an egg hunt with colored hard-boiled eggs, you'd know not to use the basket liner if the grass were damp {lesson learned from last year}. The kiddies were set.....

And once the firetruck blazed its siren, the kiddies were off......

We re-grouped with the other bunnies,

And checked to see if anyone scored the winning eggs!

No such luck...but they did get some sweet treat goody bags
AND to run off some of that energy!

Gavin was quite entertained by the firetruck! So much that
they invited us back in the Summer for a complete tour!

He loved sitting in the driver's seat!

Then, back to Nini and Pap's we went.....

Up next ~ an Easter egg dye-fest!
