Choo-Choo

After being back home in the valley for a week without Daddy, we were starting to really miss him. Gavin and I were counting down the minutes until we could pick up Michael from the train station so we could all be together again.

As soon as we arrived, we filled the meter and hurried inside!

Gavin didn't want to wait in the terminal any longer, so we headed down the ramp to get front row of Daddy's arrival! As the train pulled close, Gavin was smiling from ear to ear {me too}!

Daddy was super excited too!

We were all smiles...

Now that we had Daddy here with us!

Love, Life and 5 Generations

Visiting back home for a week, I knew I had to make some rounds to visit my family. The first on my list were my great-grandparents and grandparents...Gavin's Great-Great Grandparents, how lucky he is. FIVE generations of our family gathered in one room for a few memories that will last a lifetime.

Gavin and I wanted to have our own moment with them.

If I were in my 90's, holding hands with my husband like they always are, then my heart would be perfectly content! Isn't that the cutest thing in the world!

That, and the fact that they love nothing more than squeezing their great-great grand-babies! Just look at my Mem's squeeze and my Pap's dimples! That says it all!

We love you, Mem and Pap...
Forever and Always!

Boys Will Be Boys

While visiting back home for a full week, we caught up on some much-needed time with cousins! The best part was- sitting in the most quiet part of the woods, chatting with my cousins, while the littlest of the cousins played their little hearts out. Talk about no worries in the world, this was it! =)

River, Ruby, Benjamin, Luke & Gavin
New cute little pups...Jack & Cash!

Bubbles...

Pool time...

Bounce time...

And any sport they choose, including a game of soccer! =)

And all the more reasons why I miss 'HOME'! =)

Parade Shindigs

We love our annual hometown parade and carnival, so its not to often that we pass up the opportunity to head home for a whole week of fun with family and some great friends.

The mama's love to sit back, mingle and capture an album of all the cuteness!

The kiddies love nothing more than watching the never-ending procession while anticipating a wild toss of yummy sweet treats!

They love some of the other fun things that go hand-in-hand with parades and carnivals...

You guessed it- silly clowns!

The best part- watching the kiddies scramble for all the candy that is tossed right towards their little feet.

Seeing what each other scored,

Then trading their not-so-fave flavors for their favorite!

Something my little guy looks forward to every year!

Always a big favorite for us, and our little babes!

Followed by a fun night at the towns' annual carnival.
