As we drove away from Bodie Island Light Station, the sun made the sky a beautiful shade of blue. The prettiest backdrop when snapping pictures of Cape Hatteras Light Station.
We had so much fun capturing photos in front of the lighthouse,
Gavin and Mommy,
Gavin and Daddy,
Cape Hatteras Lighthouse was my favorite!
We saw a few roaming deer grazing.
While we had a mini picnic,
I got to hold the lighthouse in the palm of my hand,
...and daddy's head measures in comparison!
What can I say? He is one smart man!!
The day went from gloom to crystal blue in such a short time.
