Despite getting caught in a crazy downpour on the beach, we squeezed in a little fun while it lasted.
The rain was sporadic,
but held off long enough for us to enjoy sand between our toes.
Little fingers engraved their names in the sand...
They enjoyed searching for sand crabs while it lasted.
When the rain started up again, we took cover under the tent.

The rain would drift out and they'd be back at it again,
We decided to towel dry since the rain showers were going to linger.
Bob came to rescue us!
Then, headed back to our pool for the rest of the day.
It's much easier taking cover when you're near the beach house.
The rest of the afternoon called for a lazy day,
Filled with snuggles, movies and a snooze-fest!
