Funny Farm

Immediately following the egg hunt in the Bunny Nest at Johnson's Farm, our little family couldn't wait to spend the remaining afternoon in the barnyard and its playground which spreads peacefully across the farmland acres! Practically the next best thing to what it was like growing up on my grandparents farm when I was a little girl!

Of course, the first thing to do was sit on a really huge tractor!

A mini farm for the perfect hands-on little farmer guy!

Who insisted the job isn't finished until
his fruits & veggies weigh in at 5 lbs!

The go-cart adventures were {by far} Gavin's favorite thing!

Heading to the animal farm was another big hit!

What's there not to love about the 3 little pigs...

.......and all the other furry friends!

But, it wasn't long before we found our silly selves playing with all the neat equipment:

A Rope Maze...

A shaky 'who's that trip-trappin' over my bridge'...
{okay, I just made that one up from the 3 billy goats gruff}

A Balance Beam...

And, well, the Playground had just about everything you could think of.......

Gavin was intrigued...

...that his daddy made it to the tippy-top!

He is G's superhero, after all!

Oh, and my little photographer-in-training insisted he knows how to work it behind the lens! An au naturale, I tell ya!

We can't wait to visit our favorite farm again soon
for some berry-picking in May!

Stay tuned!
