Inner Harbor

Road trips are one of our favorite summer things to do, especially when we've been taking this same trip since Gavin was a little guy! We share lengthy amounts of conversation and silliness that help pass the time!

And we were all just about giddy when our road trip from PA,

...led us right into Baltimore's Inner Harbor!
(another check off the summer to-do)

We love the Harbor!

Phillips Seafood was the perfect place to lunch!

The views and festivities along the Harbor ROCK!

We couldn't wait to take those dragon boats for a spin,

After getting in our gear, off we went out into the water...pedaling as fast as we could. Okay, not really fast cause the temps that day reached 103°! Wowza! But we still had one heckuva fab time out there!

Then, it was time to head inside the aquarium for all the coolness!

So many really neat underwater creatures,
...including Nemo & Dori!

The sharks are always Daddy's personal faves!

Gotta love a good fishy kiss!

And those ginormous squeezes that I could never get enough of...

While Gavin likes the reptiles and tropical fishes, Daddy loves the sharks, and I prefer the dolphin show! (I was a dolphin volunteer during a previous trip here, looooved it...check it in the album below)

I have to say, Gavin was quite the fan too!

Following the show, we hit up a 4-D movie, Planet Earth!

Then headed to tour more of the aquarium,

The Reptiles...G loved it!

Our Inner Harbor trip of 2010 was unforgettable and we were sure to create memories that we'll look back on again right before our next visit there!

We enjoyed a full day here, but just weren't quite ready to head back home just yet. So, we grabbed a yummy ice cream treat before our road trip back to the city of Brotherly Love!

Goodnight Inner Harbor,

Goodnight Moon!

This family outing brought back so meany treasured memories from one of our times there with Gavin! Gav loved it, even when he was just a wee little guy, and I had too much fun volunteering with the dolphin show! Enjoy the memories...
