Sand. Surf. Sun.

The calm before the storm- that is exactly what the Gulf of Mexico waters were like when we hit the beach.  The forecast updated that hurricane Irene was working her way right into Longboat Keys, but luckily for us, not for another 3 days.  By that time, we'd be safely on our flight back home.  So, it only makes sense to make more memories for a few more days soaking up the sand, surf and sun!

Life is that good- Splishin' Splashin'

Diggin' and Buildin' Sand Castles

Seashell and Sea Conch Searchin'

The Gulf was so calming, no waves other than a few ripples...

And an absolute favorite of mine- beach picnics!

Chillaxin' under the Floridian Sunshine in the warm Gulf of Mexico!

Conch shells were everywhere...

Quality time with my boys!

 Capturing a few family memories...

Good times with the gang!

A fun little game of duck-duck goose in the Gulf!

Cousins are the cutest beach babes!

Can't get enough of this place...

Especially when you are surrounded by family!
