Our only survivor was the final frog who is still going strong. We're thinking an aquarium full of these little swimming frog creatures would be fun!

Not So Lucky Fisha
Remember THIS post when we brought home a new little fishy friend named Benson?! Well, this not-so-lucky day came in a few different doses. First up, we decided to set out to buy Benson a whole new aquarium with really cool decor gadgets and a few new fishy and frog friends ~ 1 sucker fisha, a black bubble-eyed fisha, and 2 froggies to be exact...it was really beautiful!

But to make a reeeeally long story short, one of the froggies committed suicide by jumping out of the aquarium, while 1 sucker fish, the black bubble-eyed fisha AND our beloved Benson died by morning! I'm blaming the new aquarium and thinking the filter failed us! :(

Falling Behind
As much as we're loving all the fabulously fun fall festivities this October, we're also enjoying a few other not-so-fall-festive happenings...but still fabulously fun nonetheless. In other words, this month isn't all about jumping in leaves, apple orchards, pumpkin carvings or trick-or-treating but other fun plans like...

A Sailing Adventure with my crazy-awesome husband for our (pre)Anniversary getaway! Just a mini peek until November!
Disclaimer: those stylin' blue gloves were only worn to set sail, haha!

A Lego Grand Opening... perfect for a Sunday family outing. When we got the news about a Lego store grand opening we jumped on the idea of taking a drive to partake in some of the fun lego activities since Lego's are a favorite of Gav's.
Then, we helped build the biggest R2D2 and got a fun little builders certificate!

Now that Gavin has his own VIP card, he will be able to celebrate with 10 of his bestest buds for his 6th birthday celebration next year. Totally COOL! And my head is already spinning with the cutest Lego party decor! ;)

Such fun party decor and details- Amy threw a fantastic par-tay! I was happy to make these cute Mario favor tags for the cutest little guests-of-honor!

And, well, since I was way behind once again (what else is new, right?) this helped me get caught up a bit. Well sorta! Okay, so I am still way behind but life is throwing so much FUN things our way, I've come to the realization that I may never get ahead. Just sayin'! Anywhoooo....I can't wait for you to see the rest of our October-esque postings filled with pumpkin carvings, jumping in leaves, trick-or-treating, and all that other good Fall stuff!
A Mario 1st Birthday Bash...for Baby Anthony!
Happy Birthday little man!

Misc. Monday
So, just a little random Miscellaneous Monday post with a few odds and ends!
1. Bliggity-Blog Subtitle.
I made a little subtitle change to our family diaries (see above). We love to follow the motto 'live every moment, laugh every day, and love beyond words'. In addition, our blog is about savoring all the ordinary and extraordinary moments of our life! ♥
2. Text Messages.
I get about a gazillion phone texts daily from my husband. But over the weekend, I got the biggest smile ever when this message about our pre-anniversary getaway came across my cell...
(one of the million reasons I love my sweet husband!)

3. Paul Frank.
Gavin is loving his new Clek Ollie car seat that guarantees no 'numb-bum', perfect for our lengthy road trips! Lovin' it!
4. Caricatures.
Receiving family caricatures from my little guy, make me smile...
Gavin
5. Mailman.
Gavin loves his fun little mailman play costume. Takes after his 'Bob' and a great little post carrier he makes!
6. The Flash.
Speaking of costumes, Gavin will be the Flash for Halloween. We knew he wanted to be a superhero again this year, and after changing his mind 100 times, the Flash is what he wanted to be for his preschool party! Watch out...he means business! =)
7. Chobani. Um, yum-o! A favorite new snack of mine is the Chobani Greek yogurt- Strawberry! Totally delish!
8. Coolest Dude.
On the way to our next family outing in Linvilla (coming up next), I looked in the back seat and cracked up when I saw G sportin' my shades and sitting like this...

Happy 1st Blogiversary
I can't believe its been 1-year since my very first blog post! Time sure does fly so it has been fun documenting the little things that's been happening in our lives, to turn the entirety of my blog into such memorable albums for my little guy, and to reminisce all the good that life has to offer us!
I would also like to thank all of my new sweet followers for reading my blog and the happenings in our little family! It makes me smile every time I see a pretty new face pop up :) So, thank you so much! It really does mean a lot to me!

Blog Makeover
It was time to give our family bliz-og a few fresh changes! Don't forget to turn up that volume (a cute little playlist is waiting) so you can get your jam on while viewing our family diary!
I'm only about a month behind! ;)

Pathological Picture-Taker
I have a confession...
I am a pathological picture-taker!
I was in denial up until today when I realized...
I was in denial up until today when I realized...
Last week, I took 1,030 photos while we were in NJ for 6 days, that does NOT include all the videos and pics from my mini cam. Not to mention, I am already waaaaay behind on my June blogs...oh, let's say by 16 posts. See, I told you...pathological picture-taker!
Stay tuned! I'll most likely be gathering a ton more pics this weekend since camping is in our weekend agenda...NOT that I need any more, but I just can't help myself! Like I said...
