Roasty-Toasty

An old time fave!

Many years ago, my favorite Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Heim, was so creative around the holidays. It was around this time 22 years ago that we made one of her specialty recipes at school. Perhaps it was the poem that went along with it, but whatever it was, I surely remember to this day.

Roasting Pumpkin Seeds...

Although you can add any touch of spice to suit your palate, I like to flavor mine with Honey and Cinnamon. Not only do they taste yummy, but they also make the house smell SO spicy...and sweet!

Did I mention a perfect snack high in fiber?! ;)
