Ice Skating @ Central Park

One of the major things on our bucket list while visiting New York City, was to go ice skating in Central Park! We spent the entire afternoon perusing my favorite NY park, before hitting the ice!

The littles couldn't wait to climb the rocks with a beautiful city view!

The same spot Michael and I sat years ago celebrating one of our anniversaries. It certainly brought back some sweet memories, while creating some new ones, too!

My little guy had a grand time exploring,

While the mama's were content soaking it all up!

The city skyline was gorgeous, which explains the hundreds of photos we snapped from this day!

That, and the fact there was just so much to do! And, well, these cuties in a beautiful location is the perfect reason to snap, snap, snap away! We walked as far as we could- under the carriage bridge,

through the playground,

and even skipped a few rocks in the pond!

Until we finally spotted it....la ice!

Perfect timing, let me tell ya!
They cleared the ice for the new skaters,

We were so excited to break out the ice skates and get into the groove of another one of Gavin's 'firsts'!

It took a little getting used to,

But, it was a snowball of fun...and many great laughs!

It was the perfect way to end our time in New York!
