Superstar ★

After Gavin played tee-ball last Spring and soccer last Fall, we weren't surprised when he wanted to try basketball this winter! And, since G loved soccer so much, he also opted to play on an indoor soccer team every Saturday morning as well! So, as it turns out, our weeks have been supa busy with both~ basketball and soccer! Simply my little Superstar and loving it!

Game #1: He was a bit apprehensive during his very first game. Meeting new buds and learning the sport of b-ball, Gav was a tad timid. Always looking over his shoulder to make sure his mama was on the sidelines, I'd throw a comforting smile and a wave in his direction to reassure him that everything was gonna be okay!

Daddy was also there to give Gavin a cute little pep talk!

And, just like that, he was ready to rock-n-roll!

He played his little heart out...
and some mad defense skills!

Dribbled/ran with the ball,

And even attempted a few shots!

Perhaps it was his new Jordan kicks that helped with that jump. Seriously what little guy can play b-ball without Jordan's anyway?! Whatever it was, he sure tore up the court!

We just knew the following games would be a breeze
and this little guy was a natural!

Gavin simply loved it!

Overall, a very good 1st game!

Game #2: Gavin quickly warmed up, so we had no doubts he'd be in full swing throughout the rest of the season!

Those great defense skills once again!

Their little team huddles are just too adorable!

I am such a proud mama to this little guy! Not only does he make for one well-rounded supa-star and is certainly entertaining to watch,

But he also loves having fun. Life is good!
