30th in Atlantic City

My 30th Birthday festivities continued in Atlantic City with dinner, drinks, hotel, casino and a fabulous evening out with a few amazing people...

A few peeps couldn't make it but we have another 30th approaching fast and we'll have one big bash in just a few weeks! But this night brought about one heck of a fantastic 30th! I am such a lucky gal!

I was serenaded,

and then came the creme brulee with candles!

I made the other thirty year olds join me!

Only two months a part,
we are now 30 year old-heads together!

Next up- my beach birthday celebration with my loves!

THIRTY

So, I turned 30 and life is still fabulous! Can I get an Amen for that?! I dreaded the big 3-0 but life is better than ever. I was able to cross tons off my bucket list before hitting the dirty thirties, plus I am smothered in love by my two favorite boys in the world, so what more could I ask for!

It is official, I am the big 3-0 and I have the candles to prove it!!

You counted right... I insisted they remove a few! ;)

These first 30 have been the best years of my life,

Just not sure how my next 30 could possibly top those!

Moving Day

After our midnight move from the city to the 'burbs,

It took a few good 'superheros' to super clean our new place from top to bottom. And a MickeyD picnic lunch on our hardwood floors...a treat for all of Gavin's big boy help, of course!

A huge THANK YOU to Michael and Uncle Chris for moving all the heavy furniture because clearly this little guy tuckers out easily! ;)

And Day 2 of moving, was a peanut butter and jelly request from this little guy! Mommy was down for that!

We included Gavin in on our 'house hunt' as much as possible. In the end his only concern was (and I quote), "Mommy, if this place doesn't hold all of my toys, then we're just gonna have to try again tomorrow."

Oy vey! Yes, our place is quaint and cozy, but despite owning a share of ToyRus, we actually fit quite comfortably with all Gavin's toys, my shoes, and well, poor Michael! Between Gavin's toys and my clothes & shoes, Michael doesn't have much space! He is such a good sport! ;)

Disney World

Each year we love to mix things up a bit and take an adventure to some place we've never been. While exploring Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, we knew there was one more place we had to re-visit. We took Gavin to Disney World just two years earlier, but being so incredibly close, we knew we had to visit one more time.

It felt so good to spend some time in Magic Kingdom...a favorite of ours hands down! I'll spare you with the thousands of photos and video's we captured and only post a very few sneak peeks!

Even more special that my mom was there to share in our memories!

Character Breakfast at the Crystal Palace is always a must-do!

Gavin couldn't get enough and opted to video the entire thing...hysterical! Nothing quite like video to capture the moments!

okay, and grown-ups too!

The castle fireworks display is always phenomenal!

It is the most magical place on Earth,

and even that much greater the second time around!

Universal Studios

Each year, we look forward to fun family vacations. We love making memories and vowed year after year we explore some place new with Gavin. Since our little man is so into the Superhero phase, we knew Orlando Studios and Islands of Adventure was the place to be!

One of our highlights and all the reason for flying thousands of miles to see the biggest smiles on my little guy's face was to personally meet these guys...

And, last but not least, Gavin's personal favorite-

Spiderman!

We are so happy that our 2011 family vacation led us to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure because it was a ball of fun!

Being right in Orlando Florida, there was just one more landmark that we couldn't pass up....Stay tuned!
