Halloween Recap

We always look forward to the one day out of the year to get all festive and parade our little guy around in his favorite themed costume. There were his early years when we got to pick out the cutest, teeny costumes. As the years passed, we were excited to let Gavin take the reigns and make the costume choices on his own, and he loves it. So, enjoy a little Halloween recap through the years...

Happy Halloween

One of my personal favorites around Halloween is getting the cousins together for a fun night out-on-the-town for some trick-or-treating adventures! This year was no different. Gavin insisted we head into the city right after school so he could score a bagful of candy with cousins, Rowan and CJ...and they were all totally cute in costume!

CJ was the cutest Simba from the Lion King,

Rowan was the most beautiful Repunzel,

Gavin was the cool 'Snake Eyes' from G.I.Joe.

Something about Snake Eyes was really intriguing to the cousins. CJ was completely enthralled...it was too funny!

Gavin wanted to be a pirate ever since our Disney trip in August, but as soon as he discovered Snake Eyes, his heart was set. He was stoked with his final decision.

We grabbed a few photos with our costumed cuties,

Then we were off for some
Trick-or-Treats and Happy Halloweens!

It was a fabulous night out with the cousins,

and our little snake eyes!

Pumpkinlands and Hayrides

In September, Gavin had a day off from school and went with his MomMom and GrandPop to Linvilla Orchards. Lucky little guy! So following our traditions, we planned for another night outing to the Pumpkinland. Gavin was stoked for a second trip there, this time to the witches hayride for some bedtime stories and yummy sugar cookies; followed by some toasty s'mores, and warm apple cider.

Then, we strolled through the Pumpkinland!

It certainly brought back so many sweet memories from through the years, including a few of his very first trips to Linvilla Orchards!

Play Ball

Sports are keeping us busy this Fall, and when it makes my little man this happy, then life is all grand!

He is always eager to get the game started...

Whether Gavin is on the field,

Or playing goalie in the net and making a few saves,

You will always find him playing his little heart out!

Followed by a little happy dance...and a thumbs up!
