Sankaty Head Lighthouse

Any time we go to the coast, we love to scout out the lighthouses. The cape has so many but this one on Nantucket is so special because we hiked 3 miles round trip via Sconset Bluff trail just to see it. One with our very own little story behind it...

Sconset Bluff Walk

One of the my favorite, most beautiful hikes was the Sconset Bluff Path which was a total of 3 miles all the way to the lighthouse and back. The path cuts through private backyards which are open to the public. As you are walking along the path, you have gorgeous landscaped backyards and homes to the left, and the pretty ocean view and cliffs to the right. Unbelievable experience and dreamy views.
